ICE Geology Animals Hand of Man

The images presented here were shot during a trip to Iceland in May, 2015. Although I was there for ten days of photography and circled the island, I felt that I just got a sample of the great beauty and wonder of this incredible place. Here the landscape dominates the view. It has of course been touched by the hand of man, but all of the buildings and structures appear to be so insignificant against the background of the mountains and sea.  From blue ice that was produced deep inside ancient glaciers to soaring waterfall adorned mountains, there is much to see and capture.
